Sunday Dinners
Sunday is a great day to spend with family and enjoy some good home cooked food. And if you are Nick, to do your laundry at Grandmas house and not have to pay for it.
I was given these pie birds for Christmas and had to try them out. Chicken pot pie and games were a great way to gather the family together.

Disneyland, Quilting, and Presents
We were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with my family while we were down in Southern California. My mom was ecstatic that all her kids were together at one time. To celebrate, we went to Disneyland and had some good times at home. Here are more pictures of our long vacation.
My dad collects Father Christmas' so we got this four foot santa to add to his collection.

Joshua James with the Family

Last night Josh, Nick (and Nick's date), Matt and I went to see Joshua James at the Velour in Provo. It was so much fun to spend time with family and listen to some great music! I liked Joshua James before but now I am a huge fan. If you dont know who he is or want to hear his music, go to his website and download a free Christmas cd from him! Great stuff!

What do Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods have in Common?
Talking to people about Tiger Woods and his acts of infidelity, I get a feeling of disappointment and pessimism from a lot of people. Many seem to feel that "he is a horrible role model and exemplifies why our society is in such moral decay," or "with men like him as role models, it is no surprise that divorce rates are skyrocketing" (a common statement not supported by a statistical analysis of divorce rates.) But, as I notice all the companies that quickly stopped using him in their commercials, I thought to myself, "Man is Good" (if you watch the show Community you will have a better understanding of my use of this quote.) Think about it, marketers do not stand behind immoral men because today's society still has family values and doesn't view these men as good role models. It wasn't a case of "Who cares, he is an athlete." Nope, all men are still held to a moral standard. You fail to represent the ideal family man, you lose millions of dollars. Way to go society, Man is Good!
